上海财经大学特聘教授，美国马萨诸塞州立大学阿默斯特分校经济系教授，世界政治经济学会副主席，激进政治经济学联盟成员，马萨诸萨教授协会成员，阿默斯特主流经济学中心经济学家成员。主要研究领域包括：社会结构和积累理论，资本主义制度变迁，经济危机理论，苏联经济模式。著有《资本主义新自由的崛起与衰落》（The Rise and Fall of Neoliberal Capitalism，2015年美国哈佛大学出版社出版）与《来自上层的革命：苏联体制的终结》（Revolution from Above:lol战争学院The Demise of the Soviet System，1997年Routledge出版社出版）等著作。
【概要】This paper considers the possibility that the election of Donald Trump as President of the U.S. will lead to the establishment of a right wing nationalist regime in the U.S. It analyzes the economic and political developments that have made such a regime a possibility as well as the obstacles to the consolidation of such a regime in the U.S. It evaluates the evidence that the Trump presidency represents a break from the neoliberal policies that have previously been predominant in the U.S.
